We aim to meet the health and safety laws that apply wherever we operate, and to keep improving how we work as our business changes.

We take practical steps to understand the risks in our work and to reduce them. Handling and moving natural stone carries real hazards, and we plan for them rather than leave them to chance.

Health and safety is something we all share. We each look after our own safety and the safety of the people around us.
We ask everyone to work safely, follow the procedures and instructions given to them, use the equipment provided, and report any hazard they notice so it can be dealt with.

Much of our work happens alongside the suppliers, processors, and carriers we rely on. We expect them to take health and safety as seriously as we do and to work safely when they act on our behalf or on our sites.

We want to know when something goes wrong. We ask people to report accidents, injuries, and near misses promptly, so we can look into what happened and act to stop it happening again.
