Policy
We are committed to respecting human rights across BlokPort's operations and the supply chain behind our natural stone.
01
We respect internationally recognised human rights across the way BlokPort operates, from our own workplaces to the sources we buy our natural stone from. We see this as a basic responsibility, not an optional one.
We work to understand where the risks to people are greatest in our operations and our supply chain, and we give the most attention to those areas.
02
We expect work to be freely chosen, with no forced, bonded, or child labour anywhere in our operations or our supply chain. People should be treated fairly, paid properly, and free to associate and bargain collectively where the law allows.
03
We favour direct relationships and sources we know, because it helps us see how the natural stone we sell is produced and who produces it. When we find a concern, we look into it and act on what we learn.
Our approach to forced and child labour is set out in more detail in our Modern Slavery policy, which this policy sits alongside.
04
We want everyone at BlokPort to work somewhere safe and respectful, free from discrimination, harassment, and bullying. We treat colleagues fairly and expect them to treat each other the same way.
05
If you believe someone connected to BlokPort is being harmed or treated unfairly, please tell us. You can raise it with your manager or through the routes set out in our Grievance and Whistleblowing policies.
We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who speaks up in good faith.
If you have a question about this policy or want to raise a concern, please contact us.
