Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking

Our voluntary commitment to keep forced labour, child labour, and human trafficking out of the BlokPort operations and supply chain.

01

Our commitment

BlokPort does not tolerate forced labour, child labour, or human trafficking in any part of our operations or supply chain. We are a privately owned business, and we make this commitment because it is the right way to work, not because we are required to.

We treat the risk of modern slavery seriously and expect the people we work with to share this standard.

02

Our business and supply chain

BlokPort runs a managed natural stone import and trade platform. We source from quarries and processors and coordinate the trade, logistics, and delivery on behalf of our customers.

Because our supply chain reaches into extraction and processing, we pay close attention to the labour conditions of the suppliers we rely on.

03

What we expect of suppliers

We expect the suppliers and processors we work with to comply with the labour and human-rights laws that apply to them. That means no forced labour and no child labour, safe working conditions, and employment that is freely chosen and freely left.

Where a supplier cannot meet these expectations, we will work with them to improve, or we will look elsewhere.

04

The steps we take

We favour direct relationships with the sources we buy from, so we know who they are and how they work. We record the origin of the natural stone we trade, which helps us understand our supply chain and see where risks may sit.

If we find a concern, we act on it rather than set it aside.

05

Awareness

We help our people recognise the signs of forced labour and human trafficking, so that a concern in our operations or supply chain is more likely to be noticed and raised.

06

Reporting a concern

If you believe that modern slavery may be linked to BlokPort or to any supplier in our chain, please tell us. You can raise a concern with your manager or through the contact route below, and we will look into it.

We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith.
