Policy
How to speak up about wrongdoing at BlokPort, safely and in confidence, without fear of retaliation.
Contents
01
We want everyone connected with BlokPort to feel able to speak up when something is wrong. This policy explains how to raise a concern about wrongdoing, safely and in confidence.
Speaking up early helps us put things right and keeps BlokPort a trustworthy place to work and to do business with.
02
You can raise any genuine concern about illegal or unethical conduct. That includes bribery, fraud, theft, health and safety risks, or a breach of our policies.
If you are unsure whether something counts, we would still rather you raised it, so that we can look into it together.
03
You can speak to your manager, or use the contact route set out below. Please give us as much detail as you can, including what happened, when, and who was involved.
The more we understand at the outset, the better we can look into your concern.
04
We handle every concern confidentially and share it only with the people who need to know in order to look into it.
You can raise a concern anonymously if you prefer, though giving us a way to reach you helps us ask follow up questions.
05
No one at BlokPort is penalised for raising a concern in good faith, even if it turns out to be mistaken. We do not tolerate retaliation of any kind against someone who speaks up.
06
We look into the concerns we receive and take appropriate action based on what we find. Where we can, we let you know that your concern has been received and dealt with.
If you have a question about this policy or want to raise a concern, please contact us.
